TRANSFORMING GM’s B2B DIGITAL LANDSCAPE
As the UX Architect for GM Envolve, I led the design and architecture of a groundbreaking B2B platform that redefined how General Motors presents its diverse range of products and services. From initial wireframes to a fully responsive design, my role involved collaborating with strategy teams, brand agencies, and developers to create a seamless user experience that adapts to evolving business goals and user needs.

GM Envolve is General Motors’ first B2B platform designed to showcase its extensive range of services beyond traditional vehicle sales. This innovative project aimed to provide businesses and fleet managers with a user-friendly, informative digital experience. In my role as UX Architect, I was tasked with leading the overall design and information architecture to ensure the platform met both user expectations and GM’s evolving business objectives.
My creative journey began in Figma, where I organized the entire site map to clearly chart the user journey. From there, I developed detailed wireframes that laid the foundation for a fully responsive design. I then crafted intuitive navigation and cohesive footer designs, refining these elements through iterative client feedback until they perfectly aligned with GM’s brand identity and business goals.
Collaboration played a pivotal role throughout the project. I worked closely with McCann Creative, our sister agency, to ensure that our creative visions were perfectly aligned. Simultaneously, I partnered with the strategy team to develop content aimed at educating businesses and fleet managers about Envolve. This cross-functional collaboration allowed us to craft a cohesive narrative that resonated with both users and stakeholders.
Once the designs were finalized, I transitioned our vision into the CMS using AEM Quantum—later evolving to Nexus. This phase involved building responsive page layouts and collaborating with account management and project managers to maintain clear expectations and timelines. Every detail was executed with precision to transform our design into a fully functioning digital platform.
The launch of GM Envolve marked a significant milestone, with positive feedback confirming that our approach effectively communicated GM’s value proposition. However, as business priorities shifted—encompassing vehicle sales, enhanced promotion of brand sites like Cadillac, Chevy, Buick, and GMC, expanded EV education, and the seamless integration of OnStar Business Solutions—we revisited the platform. Through targeted user testing, we redesigned the navigation and reorganized content, ensuring that the platform remained agile and aligned with new objectives.
